The word Christian means Christ-like. Every time a Christian acts or thinks in such a way that is not like Christ, they are being hypocritical to their name. Confession itself is hypocritical, as if all Christians are Christ-like, no one would ever sin.

I quite agree with Christ's teachings, as they are what is considered moral, and yet so many Christians choose to follow obscure rules in the bible and condemn others, rather than loving all as Christ taught. A real Christian would not judge me or call me names, nor would he devote himself to anything other than living the teachings of Christ.

Overall most are good people who have a sincere, if sometimes unwelcomed, desire to help non-christians. My mother was a devout Christian until the day her Lord called her home. However, growing up in a Christian community, I got to see quite a few Sunday Christians stumble into church after partying too hard the night before. A lot of them did not live their lives the way their Christ would have them live yet they would be the first to judge a person who had made a mistake.

My old Pastor once said, and I am hoping I remember this correctly, that a child must learn to crawl before he learns to walk and that is the way of a Christian. A Christian must first be strong enough to crawl up and out of their sins to be able to walk with Christ.

There are many different christians - a wide variety. The ones in the spotlight are the fundamentalists - those who take the bible literally instead of seeing many passages as symbolic attempt to express the inexpressible; they also don't see that sometimes people's egos instead of divine guidance made it into the bible. They're the ones who are not evil but do result in misguided behavior that is anything but loving (but, instead, is more in line with the god made from people's egos that we see in various religions). There are other christians who do not take the bible literally, others who take it less literally, etc. There are others who sound almost buddhist in a christian context. My thoughts are all are good people but, like fundamentalist Islam, the fundie christian stuff can really induce a lot of world suffering (including the believer's own).

I want them to go away. They've done enough destructive sh*t in this world (destruction of the native American empires and societies and stealing their land, destruction of the European tribal cultures, the African cultures and their subsequent enslavement); yeah I know other peoples did this too; but the Christians should have "known" better. Instead they do whatever they want, get whatever they want, and believe they are right and tehat they'll go to Heaven.

And they still do it. How many thousands of mission trips are taken? To go and build better structures and such to bribe other peoples to convert only to let them rot. Like India.

Please, I pray every day that Christ will come for the second time and take all the Christians away.

I do like Satan though. God says you have to believe in Jesus, you can't be gay, you can't lust, you can't do this and that, but it's all good if you repent. If you kill 27 women but ask for forgiveness as they put the needle in your arm, you get to go to Heaven.

Satan doesn't put any restrictions on you. He takes in everyone. God is like that clique in high school; you do this and that you get in. Who wants an eternity of that?

inquisitions...crusaders...etc. these are couple of christian mistakes in the past. They have been condemned.
taditional christians are against homosexuality, yet there are sex predator priests. this is why they are called hypocrites.
However, those priests too are condemned by most christians. you should ask why bin ladens terror network is not being condemned/hated by majority of muslims; whereas a danish caricature of muslim figure is hated so much. ITS ONLY A PICTURE, it did not kill/BOMBED anyone. THATS HYPOCRICY!

Ok, let me give you an example....What do you think of Nazis? It brings a vivid picture of Hitler to mind, right?

Now, when you hear Christian, it should bring a vivid picture of Christ to mind, and it does not. That is a good example of a hypocrite. People who say they know him and do not act like him.

Christians are anointed with Gods Spirit ,and they are the temple of God,
this is why Paul said Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.

I think they are simple mortal sinful as anyone out there but they are different in a way though because they aren't self-absorbed they aren't "me,me,me" like rest of the world since they put GOD through his Son Christ Jesus first on the throne and not themselves with their ego.
God Bless!!!

They say we're hypocrites because someone lied to them and told them that Christians are supposed to be perfect after accepting Christ. It doesn't say that in the Bible. It actually says we're supposed to strive to be better and as sin-free as possible, knowing that Christ paid our debt of sin.

To follow Christ is to try to bring heaven to earth as often as possible. Love one another.
