Depends on where I am. South Asia -- nothing better than morning tea. Americas -- nothing better than morning coffee. East Asia? Nothing better than a nice cup of green tea mid-day. Europe? Love those herbal teas in the afternoon/evening.

I drink tea all day long but like a cup of coffee first thing in the morning. And usually in a restaurant if I have desert.

personally i prefer coffee but on the odd occassion i don't mind a cup of tea. i even enjoy herbal teas. years ago one of my patrons loved making me a hot drink and at times i couldn't decide what i wanted so i'd tell her to surprise me. so some days i got coffee when i felt like tea and other times i got tea when i felt like coffee but all in all it didn't bother me what she brought back, it was nice of her to do that in the first place. i also used to end up with 3 cups of coffee in front of me at work because patrons loved getting me a drink and yes i'd drink them all as not to disappoint them and yes i'd drink them even if they went cold!
