Honestly,2 days ago i saw a documental about the sunami in 2004. One sister and her brother are alive, but they lost 40 family members. I remember her eyes when she was saying thank you to God for this new oportunity in life, a re-born. She was pointing out a beautiful sunset in Pucket. A little bit depresive, for me.

The last time I cried was finding out my birth mother was dying of brain cancer. She lived out of state from me. I hadn't seen her in 30yrs.Though we had written letters and spoken on the phone over the yrs. I scrambled to get money for an airline ticket to get to her before she died. I made it there (finally) in 2 days. As I approached her bed in the Hospice home I was sure she wouldn't recognize me(it had been so long) She was in and out of conciseness due to the pain meds and advanced cancer. But eventually she awoke and looked at me with a confused look on her face. She looked to my sister (who was always in touch with her) and then to me again. The the moment of recognition lit her face. She painfully smiled and began to weep while saying my name over and over....I began to cry. We had 5 minutes together. Then she was lost to the drugs again. Later that day she died. And I wept. For her death. For the lost years. With guilt and with love.
