I don't know anything about it, who do you worship? How do you view women and how they should be treated? What are their thoughts on death? Also many many more questions that I can't think of. I don't want a website, I want someone to explain it to me in their own words.

If you want to know about Hinduism you can not just have someone explain it to you. There are to many idols and beliefs for a simple explaination. A web site is your best bet. Here is part of a web site you should check out if you are truly interested.

Beliefs

God or gods?
Contrary to popular understanding, Hindus recognise one God, Brahman, the eternal origin who is the cause and foundation of all existence.

The gods of the Hindu faith represent different expressions of Brahman.

Different Hindu communities may have their own divinities whom they worship, but these are simply different ways of approaching the Ultimate.

Hindus recognise three principal gods:

Brahma, who creates the universe

Vishnu, who preserves the universe

Shiva (right), who destroys the universe.

Brahma
Brahma is the Creator. However, Brahma is not worshipped in the same way as other gods because it is believed that his work — that of creation — has been done.

Hindus worship other expressions of Brahman (not Brahma), which take a variety of forms.

Hindus are often classified into three groups according to which form of Brahman they worship:

Those who worship Vishnu (the preserver) and Vishnu‘s important incarnations Rama, Krishna and Narasimha;
Those who worship Shiva (the destroyer)
Those who worship the Mother Goddess, Shakti, also called Parvati, Mahalakshmi, Durga or Kali.

Hindus' main God is Lord Vishnu, but there are many others. They are Gods for every single good thing in the world because it's a way to respect things. I mean if it was God, you wouldn't insult Him, would you?
There is some biase towards men than women in India, but women are not really inferior-- they are just considered more impure in order to reach God. That's why women are supposed to consider their husband as their God and be kind to him.
Their thoughts on death as in what happens after death? Well after death- people have only their mind and soul. So, those who did good deeds in that life have a piece of mind and they are able to choose better lives-- like life of a human. Those who have bad karma aren't peaceful and they have to choose lives like a dog, pig, tree, etc. This peace of mind or uncalmness of the mind is the heaven or h***. So, these sould keep taking birth until the person realizes his true Self and prays to God very sincerely at which point God appears and asks him what he desires.
Many people have a conception on cast system in Hinduism, which seperates people into Brahmanas (the top class-- priests), Kshatriya (warriors), vaishyas(working class), sudras(low cast). It is made only because work must be distributed among men so that those humans born into a high cast get salvation quicker. The souls that are dead are believed to have the choice of choosing which family they want to be born into.
Hope I helped without too much confusion and boredom. : ) But it takes lots more of this to understand any culture and I tried my best to keep it simple and to the point.

Anyhow, if you're really interested in understanding the philosophy that forms the basis of what is now called 'Hinduism', then you go to the following link and read to your heart's content. God bless girl! You ask this huge question. A subject that could take years to comprehend and you want it "explained to you" in some kind of sound bite? There's no reason for anyone to make the effort because if your unthinking enough to ask such a nutty question; you certainly would never understand the answer.

Hindus believe each of us to be a part of God. Much like the leaves on a tree, each is a leaf, but still each leaf is undeniably the tree. Much like Christianity teaches that we are all a part of God.

It is not about how they behave women in hinduism. It´s about you become more and more, and more and more lazy during the trip. More and more dirty and more and more empty and stupid. Then one day you just die. And that´s all.
