Easy at 27 and 43 (I've been there)

Hard at 49 and 65.

Want kids, difficult.

It's not the age or outsiders being judgmental - it's others realizing that it will be tough for you guys. You can make it work, but you need to make sure you are up front about expectations and long term goals. If so, good luck!!!!!

I loved Bill who was 63 and I was 27. He thought I was the greatest thing around and I adored him. I just never could let our age difference not be an issue.
Bill died in 1998 from lung cancer. I wish I had told him how much he meant to me one last time, but as he became sicker, his adult sons would not let me within 5 feet of him. I suppose they thought I had an alterior motive. I just wanted to tell him how much I loved him and let him know how much he meant to me before he died. He had boxes full of photos of him and me together, but he slipped away so fast, I never got any of the pictures. His kids had an auction after he died and sold some of the things I had given him.
It was all about money. The children of the man you are in love with can be a pain in the ass.

My husband is 15 years older than me. I'm 28 he just turned 43. Where we live, it doesn't bother very many people. He looks so young most people think he's 30 - 32. Our biggest problem was my parents when we got married. They got over it and they know that we love each other. We don't care what other people think.

My brother got together with a 27 year old when he was 48, and they had 3 children together.
Hugh Hefner was 44 when he got together with Barbi Benton, who was 19 at the time. Did her a lot of good.

There is a math problem with that...the oldest divided his age in half than adds 7 and thats acceptable..

so (lets day) 42 divided by 2 is 21 plus 7 equals 28...so your not little bit below border line.

Thats not a bad age difference for you guys. If you love each other and are good to each other, don't worry about judgemental people. Live your lives and be happy.

i don't see a problem with your partnership if your 27 then you should be by now a mature woman and he a mature man,if you were 16 and him 30 then that would be a much different case.enjoy each other and be happy and to hell with what anyone thinks.

Who cares? What is the big deal? And he's "fit"? You said 43 NOT 73, right?
