Yes, to some people Christian values are rather socialistic, but then other Christian values are to some people very "old fashioned" and traditional. All too often, there are people that want to embrace just some of the values whilst ignoring other values. To some left-wingers, the Bible is not socialistic enough, and rather oppressive and close-minded; to some right-wingers, the Bible suggests ideas that might uncomfortably socialistic.
