Age is nothing but a number. If the two people are happy together and treat eachother well, does age really matter. Its the people without an open mind that makes age differance seem like a bad thing but its not really bad at all. If the two people are happy together age doesn't matter. I'm 23 and engaged to a 51 year old. We're happy, healthy, and great together. Who cares what other people think.
Always remember people are going to talk about you no matter what, so might as well give em something to talk about right?

My answer is just this.....I was 45 and dating a 29 yr old, IT was great! What I have found is that the younger guys have had lots of sex but not sexual experiences.
Dating a younger guy you get the pleasure of teaching him all the ways of making love that he has not experienced with that younger girl who also has not had any experiences of her own yet.
He wants to spend time with you because you are interesting in all ways. He likes the attention you give and enjoys returning that attention. He does not have to put up with temper tantrums and ultimatums because we have been there, done that and don't wish to repeat it.
Regardless, the sex is great, you are happy, the friends are jealous and he has a smile on his face.
Go for it Girl

I did that when I was young...21...she was 36. She taught me a few things but I wasn't in love... now I'm 40 dating a 24 year old....she probably thinks the same thing about me as I did about the 36 year old back then. We're all consenting adults...we take and give what we can to each other and hopefully add to each others lives.

It's not looked down upon by me. I'm a 45 year old woman and I'd date a younger man if I saw one that I wanted. I think it's becoming more and more accepted.

My only question would be... is he a mature 23 year old? If you guys are compatible and get along then why not. Does age really matter after you turn 21? Have fun because life is way too short. If you are lucky to find love, hang on with both hands!

It's looked down upon partly because some older women just want to control the much younger guy, and avoid dealing with an adult male of equal intelligence. But not all older women are like that, and if your not like that, if you genuinely do like this guy for who he is, then go for it. I LOVE older women.

If you guys really connect, and you love each other, it's ok. It is a big age difference, even with a man older than woman relationship like that, but age is just a number after all.

There's nothing wrong with an older woman dating a younger man, as long as they are compatible.

That's not really true... if an older man dates a younger woman people tend to assume he's a shallow jackass who's just in it because she's young and hot.
