I have heard of some guy down the street in a 1/2 million dollar house that sells electricity. Here is the thing its not the big corp companies that we get from the house. So what exactly is he selling then and to whom would he sell this ?What is that even called that business that is?
I knew one other guy that was getting into this market as well but i never asked more because it wasnt my business to know.
Thanks for the insight.

What you are talking about is very common in today's world. By law, federal, state, and local, you must be compensated for the amount of power you put back into the power companie's grid system. It is very common for electric utilities to purchase power that they do not respectively produce. Local companies can generate electric power through coal, or solar, and then sell it to the power companies. I would call your local power company and ask them the procedure for selling power into their grid system. They will be more than happy to help you in this direction. Local homeowners typically generate power through solar cells and then store this energy in batteries. Any power that is not used can then be sold back into the grid.
Hope this helps.
Good night and good luck.

The most cost effective and efficient way of using solar power at home is not by turning it into electricity, but by using it directly for drying clothes, passively heating your house, or passively cooking your food. Solar box cookers have the added advantage that since they do not heat up the house the way using the oven would, you don't need to run the air conditioner afterward to cool it off, either. Search on solar box cookers and you will see how easy they are to make.

....one thing you can do is create your own electricity :via ( solar panels ) and the utility company must buy back any surplus energy you cannot consume.
