The 10 Commandments appear in Exodus and Deuteronomy in the Bible, but a list of the Seven Deadly Sins does not. Pope Gregory I compiled the list of the Seven Deadlies.
So, could they have been confused? No.

The Seven Deadly Sins are not from the Bible. The Bible was made vague and often contradictory to preserve the prerogative of the oligarch to engage in the Seven Sins. I seem to recall that Dante wrote the Seven, not the Bible. Check your other answers. Mine is quite unreliable as I am only answering this question for the two points which are much more important than either the Seven Deadly Sins or the Ten Commandments. Furthermore, my addiction to Answers has slipped under the wire and Answers may become an Eighth Deadly Sin but I'm enjoying while I can.
I just hope God isn't too picky.

Yes they are in the same bible. The 10 commandments are in Exodus and the 7 deadly sins are the 7 things that are detestable to the Lord.
There has been no confusion between the texts.

The 10 commandments are in the Bible yes but I'm not sure of the source of the seven deadly sins. But Jesus Christ himself rolled all of these into two commandments, found in Matthew 22:37-40. Love the Lord your God with all your heart mind and soul, and love your neighbour as yourself. Who is your neighbour? The man or woman standing next to you.

Yes they are from the same source, Yet only 7 deadly sins would be adding to God's Word. Yahweh Elohim. All sins are deadly. "For the wages of sin is death. But the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus."
God spoke the 10 commandments recorded in Exodus 20. Moses recorded them in the book of Exodus.
Solomon received His wisdom from Yahweh Elohim.
7 abominations.
Proverb 6:16, 26:25 A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart devising wicked imaginations, feel that swiftly run to mischief, a false witness, and sowing discord among sisters & brothers of faith.
The Catholic 7 deadly sins are different, "Pride, laziness, gluttony, envy, anger, averice & lust".
It is written in the bible to be angry & sin not. Don't go to sleep in your anger so Satan will not get a foot hold. Christians need to walk in forgiviness because God has forgiven them. Even God can get angry. God is also mighty jealous when it comes to idols.

The 10 commandments are in the bible. About the 7 deadly sins, the Bible talks about any form of sin as deadly. Even lies (or white lies, whatever you want to call it) is deadly. The bible says "For the wages of Sin is death". Notice the "Sin" is singular, therefore any "Sin" equates to death.

That homosexuality isn't in the ten commandments is a Non Sequitur. the ten are the middle of the former covenant, and the former covenant does manage homosexuality, and there is not any debate between actual pupils. Scripture comments that it truly is an abomination to God. The apostle Paul also addresses it in Romans. sounds like you're more effective attracted to minimalizing it somewhat than accepting what info is presented in Scripture. .

The Ten Commandments are in the Bible; The Seven "deadly's" are just religious doctrine; which mean that they are just a set of rules set by priests.
