if ur school offers a language class or higher level of math/english, then take it. u'll be at a higher level when u start high school (9th grade) , which is when ur education really counts for college.
otherwise, don't worry too much...it's just the same kind of stuff as elementary school...except they expect u to be a little more independent/responsible.

I think it was when I was in seventh grade when I bit into a butterfinger bar that contained a piece of circuit board. When I reported it to the company all I got was a coupon for 3 free candy bars. I guess that's not really all that helpful advice for beginning 7th grade but maybe now you'll be extra careful when eating Butterfinger bars.

As a teacher, I can tell you that first working hard with your homework and studying will help you with your exams. Take good notes in school, listen to the teacher, and always ask questions if you have any troubles. Stay good, keep with the right kind of friends and avoid anyone who will harm you or be a bad example in front of you. Stay on a good track in school, join afternoon clubs, sports or anything for extra curriculum. This all will help you to success for your future education. And, if you are having any troubles with math or any subjects, tell the teachers, maybe the school can offer extra tutoring.

Don't slack off. Do your homework because you need to be prepared for high school. Have fun, but don't get too off track with the social scene. Don't date - it's too young and you may have a bad experience which will stick with you for years. Better to wait until you are a bit more mature and know what you getting into. Good luck
