Try starting up a conversation with him. It doesn't have to be a huge conversation but start off with maybe "hi" "hello" "how's it going" "scene you around" stuff like that. The conversation will start to flow and pretty soon you'll be talking. If you have a group of friends that are going to hang out together, go for drinks, pizza, movie, etc., ask him if he'd be interested in going with everyone. Or just plan old ask him out on a date once you two start talking. Doesn't haven't to be anything big, movie, pizza, soda, baseball game, whatever.

If you like this guy, you have to try harder to let him know about your feelings. Even the most casual of relationships require mutual communications between the two parties.

Well try making small talk with him, but make sure you act yourself. Try finding if you guys have anything in common. Also smile, but not to much or it looks weird. Dont be to shy, but act like yourself.

Change the lack of communication.
Talk to him, find out more about him and perhaps he will not be the guy you think he is. However he might be the guy you've always dreamed about.
