Ok, i understand to hang out & be cool....not all gushy & stuff, but hang out...where?? that's the part i don't get? where should we be if we want to just say hi to the band..get an autograph, then leave? NOTHING more, just meet & go?

In addition to the other question you asked of the same nature....just keep close to the backstage area. Look the part. I don't mean groupie but look like you belong there, then when you find yourself an opportunity you will easily slip through the cracks. They don't come looking for you, you have to go looking for them. Usually once the crowd has pretty much cleared up, there is less security. Befriending the roadies is a way as well. Not security they usually work for the venue not the band and don't have the ability to make introductions.

They keep their distance and would only look at you as a groupie with motives trying to get closer to them for "perks". It's not so important to say hi. It won't matter because they will be to busy being "high" off their music. Your saying hi to them won't really matter.
And if they do embrace you (musicians are some of the horniest people on the planet) it will be to get the "group rate".....get it?

Sorry. Not that you're not important!!!!! But to them you'd be just another one.
