Drinking too much caffeine is not a cause.
There are different causes of lock jaw:
1. Tetanus (acute infection )
2. dental injection
3. neurological disorders
4. forward dislocation of the jaw joint

Also, If you experience lock jaw and often have regular headaches and neck aches, it's probably caused by teeth grinding

In all the above cases, massage therapy and TMD treatment can help. My advise to you is to see a ORAL-Medicine dentist or neuromuscular Dentist. Your general dentist should be able to refer you to one!! Hope that helps.

No drinking caffeine will not result in it. Locked jaw is from getting really stressed...ppl think its from chewing gum, but its not. So try not to sweat the small stuff.
