what is 4x-5x(-3)+9x-7x??? someone please help b/c i think im right but he thinks hes right....

= 4x+15x+9x-7x
= 19x+9x-7x
= 28x-7x
= 21x

By the rules of distribution, and given the location of the parenthasis, the -3 is being multiplied by the -5x and only the -5x. so we have 4x+15x+9x-7x
=19x+9x-7x
=28x-7x
=21x

ok: -5x multiplied by -3 is positive 15x. So 4x+15x+9x-7x=21x. Hope I helped!

4x+15x+9x-7x Just add and subtract
28x-7x finish it off
