Don't worry too much about trying to impress others. Be yourself and be nice to people, and do your homework. Don't worry too much about boys yet, either - you're still a kid, so enjoy it and take your time with growing up. You have plenty of time to be an adult beginning in a few more years.

Don't dress trashy or look like you might be prostitute. Middle school is a time where you can still be yourself but can try new things with too much peer pressure. As with boys, make friends. It's always good to have guy friends. Don't expect to find a boyfriend that want to go steady all the way through high school or you'll be let down. High school is when things really start to change.
I will reiterate this though: Be Yourself. Make decisions for yourself and what you want, not because it's cool or everybody is doing it. Do what you know to yourself to be right and don't let others try to change you.

Just got out of middle school....my advice is find an smart, average guys, they're a lot more respectable and reliable than the hot popular ones most of the time....as far as fashion goes, keep it simple and practical, but still cute. Like, I figured out the hard way that the really pretty, long, gypsy skirts are really bad for school because if you're not careful something disastrous, like getting it caught under a chair leg and getting your skirt pulled down, can happen and no one wants that. With relationships, don't make it too serious, you guys shouldn't be dating really seriously or planning your marriage (like two of my 14 year old friends), because it's way too soon for us to be getting into crap like that. Well... just be yourself. Never be someone you're not. Tip about boys: It's easy to find out if they like you. They always tend to look at you every few minutes. And they also try to act tough sometimes when they're around you.

wear leg warmers, with a jean skirt, and a cool t-shirt, put a belt over the shirt, boys you need to act calm and cool around them and they will be your friends and sometimes maybe more....

super low-rise jeans and a crop top if you are skinny. if you aren't skinny, then wear stretch pants and a sweater.
boys like super lowrise jeans on skinny girls. so you wont have any trouble getting boys if you are skinny.
