That's right, it could be everything and anything. Live well and eat well...all in moderation.
My son has cancer at 11. There are baby's with cancer, infants. Unbelievable all that we've seen. What have they done in their short lives? Probably something genetic that's passed down that predisposes one to it. Until they find the cause we'll never know. But more importantly I hope they find the cures. No one should have to endure what these children endure...it's just appalling.
Support cancer research. It's our only hope. You never know what fate will throw your way.

I think anything in excess can cause cancer, don't you? They just don't seem to know. I had stomach cancer last year and I'm only 31. NO ONE KNOWS HOW/WHY I GOT IT. Its not like I ate hot dogs for every meal. I don't even eat fast food much. I've never smoked. I don't like to drink. I can't think about how I got it because I'll never know. But you know what? Its got to be in something we eat...

I agree, it's so annoying!!! It's like cancer is becoming something to joke about, and let me put my two cents in: It's NOT! My mom (whose mother died from the disease) and I were listening to the news one time, and there was something said about a certain type of fish causing cancer. My mom said, "Oh, don't everything!" There's been fish, hair products, microwaves, cell phones, flip-flops, hot dogs....you name it, it supposedly increases your risk of cancer.
I do understand about some things (like smoking and too much UV exposure) are risk factors for cancer, but it seems like it's practically everything now, especially in California. Half of the exercise equipment we sell at my workplace has a warning on the package that reads: "This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer." My deer horns that I got for Christmas also came in a package that said that. I bet it's because almost everything comes from China now and they're rather notorious for dangerous chemicals (like lead) being used in their products.
Once again, I do agree that it is very annoying and offensive when people say "_______ increases your risk of cancer" about everything. Cancer is nothing to joke about, and there are people who are suffering from cancer, as well as those who know cancer patients and those who have had cancer. Driving, breathing, and even talking about cancer will be next...
