Cheap labor, which means more money in the rich mans pocket. Along with that cheap labor comes lowered wages for a large number of Americans. Welfare for those low wage illegal immigrants means higher taxes for Americans. Lowered wages for Americans and higher taxes means a lowered quality of living for Americans. We worked hard for a better life for our children and grandchildren and now our own government is giving their heritage away to illegal people who should not even have the right to any federally funded program (welfare, Medial, Medicaid, food stamps, subsidized housing, Social Security, disability, education..)
There are multiple reasons to secure our borders: Illegal immigrants, criminals, terrorists, disease, overpopulation, etc.
Americans need to open their eyes and realize this is an extremely serious and dangerous issue.

Get realistic. Closing a mountainous and desert border has been the impossible dream of countries since the Roman Empire. All the firepower in the world, can't compensate for the ruggedness of geography. Quadruple the Army and put 80% of them on the border and you still won't even come close to sealing such a border.
It's not blackmail or collusion, just basic reality. Stopping people from needing to come to survive is the secret. Folks from Europe came in waves (even across an ocean) until Europe become a place almost everybody could stay and make a living. The same has to happen in Mexico.

Mexico has nothing on the USA except all the manufactureing jobs. The reason they do not close the border between mexico and the US is that the immigrants coming over the border will tell border guards which people coming over are not mexican, because the mexicans don't want the border closed. It's true too. Border guards have caught terrorists that way.

the day until now in the present day Mexico beat us of a because of fact they have been the extra useful group there is not any longer something embarrassing approximately it. (we don't have sufficient American soccer followers to call this our back backyard anyhow) Mexico would have had a bad day and misplaced purely as actual as they gained the day until now in the present day. additionally i don no longer see how we suck large time as quickly as we positioned up 2 early targets against Mexico, no undemanding feat in any activity. We have been purely too busy annoying approximately Chicharito to undergo in innovations that Mexico has extremely extremely some different stable gamers that would score.

dude, you've been watching too much foxnews. people in this country are much more likely to be hit by a drunk, speeding or sleeping driver than killed by a terrorist that sneaks through the border. there are a lot of things around here that are more dangerous than the current border security situation.
close the borders? you mean like no tourists, legal immigrants or exchange students? should we also be denied the ability to travel to other countries? if you want to live in a police state, i'm sure there's one somewhere that will take you. me, i'd rather take my chances with a little freedom for all.

Don't you hate it that a good number of Mexico's income is earned from immigrants sending money they got from their 'jobs' back to Mexico? What about how illegal immigrants want the benefits of an american citizen without paying taxes? I know life is hard back in Mexico to get money for papers but if this keeps going the USA could be in some serious trouble.

The deal is actually quite simple. For Mexico, their wealthy, politically powerful elite are able to get rid of their most socially, economically and politically oppressed citizens who, under other circumstances would be the greatest threat to their hold on power if these people had to remain under such exploitive conditions. For the US, our wealthy and politically powerful elite (who control our government and both parties) gets to try and gain favor with what they see as the emerging and potentially powerful Hispanic/Latino voting bloc of the future and, additionally, our elected leaders, regardless of political party, are the very same wealthy elite that benefit the most from the continual arrival of illegal immigrants as a source of increasingly cheaper labor to exploit at the expense of the American people who they claim to "represent."

It's not only about closing the borders!! There's other things to it. I bet if they deport all the immigrants you are going to be the first one to get a job in the fields, because your ignorance just pop's out of you normally. With your mentality, you will not be able to get any better job.
