I miss the 60's, altho. I was only a kid. Everything was so extra exciting, as the 50's had been so staid in the U.S. There was a razorblade commercial, a blonde supposably Scandinavian was saying to a man as she stroked his jaw, "take it ALLLL off". Movies, commercials, everything in media seemed to take on energy from feeling liberated from the conservative mores. Times were amazing. By the 70's the authorities were starting to clamp down on the young people, without realizing that it was their own adult stuff in the 60's that had probably made young adults in the 70's the seemingly immoral liberals they seemed to be.

i am a child born into 1990, and i have always longed to been able to have lived int he 80's. the music, the clothes, the hair, the parties, the concerts....i would have loved that. maybe one day that era might just resurface again, after all it doesnt exactly have to be 1980 something for the era to come back now does it? :)

The era of the early 90s when not every freaking piece of land around my house was being developed. AND when they made good old fashioned coffee... AND when nobody in our area was so obsessed with the end of the world all the time...

I grew up in the eighties. 1988 was the best year in with music, school, clothes and it was cool to into whatever you were into all musics, lee jeans, Madonna, leisure suits, rockin' different color kangols, Kung-fu Saturdays, hair bows, after-school specials, gold name plates and earrings, house music, when I first heard Luther Vandross, gangster movies, George Michael, Run DMC and my own ADDIDAS, Beastie Boys, Bon Jovi, Guns N Roses,Eddie Murphy's Coming to America, going to the beach, Action Park,Dorney Park, Liberty State Park, and believe it or not kids actually could play outside or walk to school by themselves. I miss those times.
