God Bless you. while you might find some information on Yahoo Answers, you should start researching leukemia, and finding out everything you can about ALL treatments.
Get second, third and fourth opinions.

Talk to every survivor you can find--get ideas of what works!

Traditional, alternative, --holistic. 5% is much much more than 0%. Fight it!!

Have you already been undergoing conventional treatment? Or were you just diagnosed? If you were just diagnosed and someone dr.i telling you you have a 5% chance to live, I'd get a second opinion.

Many people have proved medicine wrong and outlived their estimated life span.

If you have gone through all known medical options, I'd live like there is no tomorrow. Do as many things as you feel like doing because there may not be a tomorrow.

You are not alone. Find a support group and attend every meeting. It is important to be with people who have the same disease. Talk to them about how you feel both physically and emotionally. Depend on your family and friends. If you have a religion or spiritual belief, cling to it. Don't focus on the 5% figure. People have beat the odds before. Get a second opinion if you haven't already . Live every day to the fullest. I live with multiple sclerosis. Everyday is a gift.

I would not give up hope. Pray to God, that He may grant a remission of the disease. No one knows how long a person is going to live. Doctors have been wrong in their prognosis in the past. There are terminal patients who doctors claim will not survive 6 months, and have survived for years, without medical help.I will say a prayer for you.

It will increase your chances.

Diseases are illness of the cell. Cancer is an illness of the cell.

GH3/procaine helps heal the cell at a cellular level. Heal the cell, heal the disease.

First thing you should do is not give up hope. Get yourself the best treatment possible and tell everyone you know to donate blood and ask them to register as a transplant donor. There is still possibility for a bone marrow transplant. Also find a support group! Life life to its fullest, keep the faith and never give up.
