Yes... in high school people would always try to get me to swear unnecessarily because I never swore. I just didn't think it was cool to use overused words that don't even mean anything cool and are just a lame trend that becomes a habit that is frowned upon anyway and you will just regret. It's not like you're doing anyone any favours by swearing and it's not cool, it's unfriendly.

yes. as a child my parents fought and swore loudly, and it bothered me. i don't think i swore until i was in the eight grade. it would make me physically flinch each time i heard a swore until about the 6th grade. i think that there are other ways to express your strong emotions, such as facial expressions.
