They don't have to. There is nothing keeping you from writing a letter telling them of your inconvience. Just keep it nice. You never know what they will do.
You are a great airline. I always fly you. I lost xxx dollars since I did not have my luggage. etc, etc.

They will probably will give u a voucher ($25, $50) if you complain to the airline..
Refund your ticket??? no way on earth they'll do that...
Your luggages only get misplaced. You only get pay if they totally LOST them. (take at least a month.) Btw, don't even think they'll pay you for whatever you claimed that you have in your luggage w/ a huge amount of value cuz they pay you by pound..

any time you go through philly there will be a chance you will lose your luggage. their work ethic sucks...I know, I'm a flight attendant for usairways...however...when you go through clt it is much better.
the only thing I can tell you to do is fill out a work claim on wages lost and write a nice but to the point letter. we do have alot of people that complain about the smallest things like the flight was too bumpy and they want their money back...like that will happen!
you do have a legit reason...take your copied claim to a manager or a supervisor and tell them your situation or send your claim to the main office in phoenix az. give them detailed info and let them know that you were inconvienced and they should reply with a letter of apology, maybe a free first class upgrade or a partial refund.
You probably will not get a full refund.
good luck.

Unlikely. Most airlines have cut 'way back on the freebies. It may not hurt to try, but they are quite accustomed to unhappy people, and lost luggage is a common problem.

No. Their liability is limited to a certain dollar amount of your lost luggage. Since it's been found, you don't get anything. Unfortunately, your baggage was slightly delayed in arriving at your destination.

Don't hold your breath. We had company from Michigan and their luggage was lost for 2 days and they had to wear bathrobes until it arrived. Just a sorry is all you get and that's if you're lucky.
