You notice how closing the border is not on anyone's agenda? Notice how the media has dumped the issue? Notice how convicting employers that hire illegals is on the back burner - again? And of course the "activist" where are the protests, the marches, and all that public stuff?
Its all under the rug so the incumbents can get re elected and then pass down the amnesty and open up the border in a busines as usual mantra.

In the last few elections there has seemed to be a populist vs. elitist split, as much as a party split. We need different parties who don't have entrenched, overwhelmingly influential constituencies. For the Democrats that is big labor and certain industries. For the Republicans that is globalist business and big national business.
However, it will take at least an election cycle to get people to believe they won't be throwing their vote away to vote for a new party. Perhaps if there were internet 'trial votes' so people could be persuaded, pre election, that their candidate had a chance, that would work. Right now to vote for a third party is to take your vote out of consideration, and split your 'party's" influence.
As to the Hispanic Latino vote, they are being spoken of as if they were the majority, and as if they all voted the same way, when in fact neither is true.
In a close race, having a large number of them on your side would help. However, if the majority turns against a politician (including, usually at least a significant portion of the 'Hispanic vote') having the bulk of a minority vote will only be a consolation prize.
Also, not all our leaders came from wealthy backgrounds. Lincoln, Reagan.... the list is long.
We can knock out those who voted wrong ONLY where the replacement will be better on this issue, and that should make enough change to make the others take notice - for the moment.

I AM making a difference. I will never give up this fight and I will continue to ally myself with people who feel the same. People like Jim Gilchrist and Ted Hayes, true patriots leading the way in this fight for our country's sovereignty. We've made great strides in the last year or so. We the people, stopped the Senate bill S 2611 and we the people will make our voices heard come November.

The US government is retarded, and I'm getting sick of it. It shouldn't be rich people running the government. They're just selfish and they want illegal immigrants here for slave labor. They don't even care if it makes everyone else poorer. Soon enough, we'll end up like Mexico, or any other 3rd world country with a sucky government. We need to elect SMART, THOUGHTFUL, CARING leaders for our country. But right now, our government is screwed. Thanks a lot, Bush!

My voting decision will be based more on the equity of the candidates philosophies, rather than on this one issue.
By equity, I mean their genuine fairness and practicality on all the major issues. Regarding immigration, it isn't practical to cause the deportation of millions out of the USA. The Nazi party began by deporting Jews out of Germany, but, seeing the impracticality of a mass deportation numbering in the millions, sought a worse solution.
Before we, as a society, implement any solution, I feel it best we clearly define "freedom" and our relation with it.

Nothing will change and nothing will happen until we begin to make our home soil a priority. America is not High up on the list of American politics priorities, it seems to be what gets the most air time.
Not going to happen, will never happen.....Mexico will end up as a Ancillary state........
