Yes, but please make sure your freezer can maintain at least -20C throughout.
I have found that when you have too many things in the freezer, you'd get different temperature readings in various parts of the freezer. Most important, the cool air in the freezer must be able to circulate properly. Soemtimes, the things in the freezer prohibit this.
Good Luck.

Yes you can. Hopefully you have not iced them yet, (icing does not freeze well).
Professional Bakers freeze cakes and muffins regularly so they all they need to do when a cake is ordered is to frost it and decorate it.
Think about that last wedding you may have been too that had a three tier cake, the cake was in there freezer ready to go.
Now that's a whole other subject.
Feel free to freeze your muffins, just let them thaw before putting the icing on.
Have a great day
Glenn

They freeze wedding cakes all of the time and no problems.
Just make sure you defrost them slowly and not in a microwave.
It's also better to put the frosting on after defrosting rather than freezing first.
You should use the large Ziploc bags or on a flat sheet pan with a couple layers of plastic wrap over them.

Yes. They freeze well. When I make a cake I always use two nine inch pans and use one and freeze one for later.

Yes, you can freeze them. Just wrap them well and give them plenty of time to thaw when you are ready to use them.

Yes! I'd frost them right after you pull them out of the freezer, though.

Yes--you can freeze them either before or after icing them, but I would wait to ice them--it will stay neater.
