i need to know quick how do i lower my epileptic daughters fever it's 38.9 and has been since 4pm today her dr is away and she is very sleepy almost unresponsive she has vomited but only once please help

i just need ways to lower it besides tyenol the hospital has no interest in children with fever i've been throu this before but i've exsasted my ways cool cloth, tyenol, only in diaper theses aren't working anyothers?

You need more than just a wet wash cloth, you need to get her into a tub of cool water and get her whole body cool. I'm sure she won't like it but it is better than a fever.
When my boy was a baby he ran a very high fever and I had to put him in a tub of ice water. He screamed from the cold but it brought the fever down in less than 5 minutes. Very effective.

Call 911 or take her to the emergency room as soon as you can get there. don't waste any time. she is probably very dehydrated. get going right away. You don't want to lose her do you. I am not trying to scare you but you must go now.God Bless your baby.I will say a prayer for her.

You need to call your doctor NOW - ask for the covering doctor. If she's unresponsive, you need to call 911!!

you need to take her to the E.R. this is very serious. go NOW. on your way keep a freeze rag on her neck and forehead. don't call or ne thing, just GO!
