Middle east situation requires large scale warfare and/or civil war to be at peace?

Question

With 10% of world muslims believing Israel needs destroyed, I don't see how some type of civil war can be avoided. Especially, when the numbers are higher in many Muslim dominated states. Otherwise, all I see is an eventual large war, where someone loses big.

When I posed a similar question someone said Israel "doesn't have to do anything." Well, that is true, but they won't have peace if they do that.

So, its pretty certain there will be war. What do you think? Civil or between counties? Both?

unfortunately I am afraid your right on this one. From what I have seen of the my studies and experiences in the Middle East it seems that the only way to resolve this conflict is for one side to definitely destroy the military and political power of the other.

I am sad to say I see no way to long term peace without total victory for one side

i detect that the time period 'Islamic' somewhat metaphorical and larger man made than something else to symbolize the 'civil conflict' between diverse communities of Muslims. The civil conflict is already an ongoing 'ingredient' which the human beings or British don't have any power/say over. history had proved that the human beings are exceptionally large mess united statesin 'peacekeeping' procedures, exceptionally in the middle East/Asian international places. For the British, as i'd see it at present day, are merely 'kissbutt' supporters of the yank reason in Iraq. in my view, they're dropping time and authorities/tax funding and an rather good type of innocuous lives. My suggestion/view? go away them on my own and they shall discover their personal answer. possibly yet another suited selection is to leave it to a special 'impartial' Muslim us of a outdoors of the middle East to be a mediator at peace talks. possibly the entire Malaysian politicians can try this by technique of introducing the Islam Hadhari theory to the middle East. The best Minister had an ambition of taking a lead for all Islamic countries in the OIC in a unmarried of his present day speeches besides.

I think that there will only be peace when Christ comes back. I think as long as there is sin in the world and people are filled with pride, there will always be wars and discords between the eastern nations. I believe that only when Christ comes back will there ever be a chance for peace for everyone, not just the middle east. All you have to read the Bible.

I would prefer the countries that support the US in our War on Terror to also support Israel. I think any country housing and supporting terrorism needs to be invaded and destroyed if necesarry. I am just sick of it, I didn't realize until I lived in England for Jr High how prevalent terrorism was in Europe.....it had never touched America......it scared the **** out of me! We've allowed them to spread to every country in the world so it will be harder to root them out, but with good intelligence it is possible. I am ready for a world war.

The world is losing its stomach for mass civilian casualties. It is a new age thanks to most of the world being religious.

Carpet bombing like World War II where no building or civilian is left standing was avoided this time. Hopefully it will be avoided next time someone gets stupid.

Tough times either way. I want to believe and think in reasoning, communication, patience, love and dialog, but it appears that the longer one waits the worse it gets....
I'm afraid that the longer terms of trying to secure peace peacefully will actually cause more casualities in the longer run.

When Iran develop their nuclear bomb, they will give it to someone else to use on israel and then the 3rd world war will begin - it's all quite simple really.
