getting highlights?

ok so i have brown hair and i want to get pink and purple highlights....will i look emo?

Personally I think black would be better with multi-color highlights, but brown won't look bad.
Yes people will probably label you as either emo, or weird...but everyone will always say things about you, its a part of life.
Do what I do, say F' them and do what you want! You can't please everyone, so just be true to yourself

depends on how chunky they are. you could be mistaken for a goth. emo's normally have jet black hair or black with blonde hunks underneath. goths are more known to play with bright colors, but they normally have black hair also. you have brown hair so, i'm not 100% sure what it will look like.

Black would look better w/ color than brown if thats really what you want to do.

i don't think you'd look 'emo', bright colors like that usually aren't associated with that term:P

If that's what you want to do, then do it. I personally would not do pink and puprle but if that's what will make you happy then do it.
