Nearsightedness (myopia) is negative. The 350 stands for 3.50 diopters.
The 8.6 is probably the base curve of the contact lens that they fit for you.
I'm not 100% sure if all colored contact lenses have the same pupil diameter but I am guessing they do. The reason it was blurry on the sides was because your pupil would get too large for the opening in the lens, causing you to be looking through some of the color (you probably already knew that) - but if the pupil size was larger, when your pupil was smaller, people would be able to see your natural iris color in the center. Discuss this with your optometrist to see if there are any other options in colored contact lenses for you.

You are a - but not sure if they meant 3.5 There are like 3 or more diff. measurements for vision so it could be either type. If the Freshlook is blurry then other color contacts will be blurry too because the space for the pupil is all the same size for colored contacts. Well you can't really help the fact that your pupil is larger so I would recommend just getting clear and be happy with your eye color! lol.

This is a matter that you should most definitely discuss with your eye doctor...
