Avoiding non-christians is no longer necessary, as we are now the dominant faith and have nothing to fear.

You have missed the whole point. Christ’s last commandment on earth was to go into the world and make disciples. How on earth can you make disciples (Christians) if you don’t have anything to do with Non Christians? If we take your point we would be sinning by breaking the Lord’s direct commandment.
Your obsession with sexuality suggests you are missing the point again
You have forgotten 1 Corinthians 10:13,
“No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it”.
Your premise regarding sexuality suggests that you do not believe this promise in the Bible or perhaps even you have not read it.
I would sit down and read the New Testament a few times and have a rethink about what you have said.
I think it is time to more thoroughly find out what the Bible actually teaches before you take up philosophical positions.
Best wishes,

Sin in clothing?
1. When scripture was written "clothes" to most people meant a long strip of cloth and a belt. Men and women wore the same thing.
2. Beyond modesty, the subject isn't discussed in scripture. A veil is discussed, but almost universally considered as something related to that culture and is discussed so that we are not putting obstacles in the way of non-believers... Read the CONTEXT.
3. Colors... In some cultures, colors are commonly related to gender. It is not sin to violate such a cultural standard. If the situation is such that a visitor in the assembly would be "put off" then it should be avoided, but just because you don't like pink is no reason for a preacher to not wear a pink shirt.
4. Moderation in all things... The true scriptural position is that we should not dress in a way that calls attention to itself. Most places in the USA would barely notice that a guy had on a pink shirt... It could be a bit much for rural Iowa, but it certainly isn't sinful because of the color.
1 Timothy 2:9 I also want women to dress simply. They should wear clothes that are right and proper. They shouldn’t braid their hair. They shouldn’t wear gold or pearls. They shouldn’t spend too much on clothes. 10 Instead, they should put on good works as if they were their clothes. That is proper for women who claim to worship God.
... the Greek word is kosmios, defined as respectable, honorable
along with aidos=decency, modesty and sophrosune=propriety, appropriateness; reasonableness, mental soundness...
all 3 are used in the context, basically Paul said the same thing 3 ways to make sure people understood it.

Darling your sexual ethics are to be commended. A true Christian or Jew or Moslem doesn't have sex outside of marriage. But why should a woman have to have a husband who raped her. I mean w th f some asshole rapes me hes not getting to be my husband out of the deal . And Pink and blue. I prefer dresses myself, but pants are appropriate sometimes, in fact they are much more modest than most of the very short dresses i like. But pink and blue. Like the little pegs in the game of life, what the hell is wrong with yellow orange chartreuse lavendar greys silvers blacks, lime green even. And from looking at your avatar I betcha you dont wear suits. and no man who doesnt wear a dress jacket needs to tell a lady how to dress. When you have a beautiful jacket with lace on the sleeves and around your neck email me and give me a dress code as long as you dont brush your hair and wear those god awful tshirts dont voice an opinion on fashion. The clothes police are now keeping a close eye on you .

If you are being sarcastic (the bit about men should wear nothing but blue and women should wear nothing but pink), I have to say that it's pretty good, but not very funny. Not a lot of insight or irony in the mocking. I mean, you advocate utter abstinence, even within the context of marriage. Sorry, there's only been one immaculate conception, and look at all the trouble that caused.
No, I'm not talking about the Prince of Peace his-own-self. I'm talking about folk who spout stuff like you've smeared onto this page... especially if you mean it.
Because if, on the decidedly left, other hand, you really believe the twaddle you are spewing, then you would do very well to get down to business of carving out your eyes (Matthew 5:29, "If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell") since it is fundamentally impossible to get online without seeing at least some image that is sinful.
Oh, wait, you can't do that, 'cos of Leviticus 19:28, "Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves."
Well, gol-lee, a CONTRADICTION!
IN THE BIBLE!
Who'd-a thunk it?
Oh, and you might want to change that picture associated with your question, assuming that it's actually what you look like, since Leviticus 19:27 says, "Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard."
And before you get any silly ideas about me following in the footsteps of Satan and quoting scripture out of context to confuse the faithful, chew on this:
Mark 21:31 "The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself'. There is no greater commandment than these."
Where is the love in your exhortations? You're laying one heavy burden on those who wish to resist sexual "immorality" in this day and age; where is the help you're supposed to offer?

I am a Christian, and i have excepted Christ into my life, I don't wear men's clothes and the only person i have had sex with was my husband, but (and this is someone who was raised in a church) you sound like a Jim Jones knockoff. You are NOT God so please don't tell the Christians on this board what they should or should not do. True believers live by Gods words, not some jerk off on the Internet, pretending to be.
I have never trashed anyone for their belief but i truely feel like you have gone to far. Ill pray for you.

Wow I suggest you read the Bible and not listen to whatever wacko put the blue and pink thing in your head.
Do you think Christ wore blue pants?
Mary Magdelene was a prostitute and she was forgiven.
Did she wear pink afterward?
And if all Christians avoided sex...where would the next generation of Christians come from? Is this what Paul said when he said it is better to marry than to burn?
Where did you get this stuff?
Read the Bible lose the cult.

have you even read the bible??
if you were a REAL christian you would seek out non christians and try to help them.
not helping someone in need regardless of faith is a sin too, or didnt you read about the good samaritin??
and about dress codes, god put us here naked, if he wanted your opinion on it, (which he doesnt.. thank god) he would ask.
and god gave us the gift of sex to use it, to enjoy each other, and as a blessing to make children to fill the earth, you should read up on that too.
oh, and in the old days, men wore dresses too.
if your raped your arent supposed to be with that person.
I sure hope you get saved or get whats coming to you.
and dont push your "altered" beliefs on people.

Your parents should have listened to your words of wisdom more closely, and you may not be here. What do you mean no sex? Does God not want the human race to grow and develop? Aren't people who marry supposed to have children? How do you do that without sexual intercourse? If we are to deny all our senses, including the one that turns us on, may God have made a mistake in making us the way we are? Do you feel guilty when you have a wet dream for instance?

Whoa Momma!
What are you on dude? Have you been castrated or something? You have it all twisted. Better go back, chill out, detox and then re-study the word of God. But if you want to be a priest that abstains from sex, by all means go ahead.

Avoiding non-christians is not even scriptural, I suggestion you study some more.
If you believe that, how could you respect Christ since those are the people he spent the most time with. Abstenance is good and should be practiced until marriage anyways it prevents the spread of diseases.
