ok well if counting to 30 isnt working then no counting is gonna work so dont listen to all these people who say well count 1-5 then do it 13 times.... take up boxing since you like to punch things this could help you relase energy as well as anger. you may have an anger management problem, maybe not saying you do. you can develope heath problems like stress, high blood pressure, and you may devlope worse problems then those. you need to relax i know its hard but try thinking of something you love or something that makes you happy...it works i know my best friend had anger management problems and would just go wild and begin hitting things it was scary but she got help and she can control her anger now...ur anger may one day hurt people you love so you should find something that works for you...best fo luck to you!! hope what i said helps you....

This is my technique for when I am mad. If I'm surround by others, I take myself out of the situation, go somewhere quiet and practice deep breathing for one minute. If that still don't help, I put on my running shoes and go for a long run or go work out. When you are mad, you have a lot of frustration and energy that you need to work off and exercise is the best way for me to release all that. I work out until my body literally gives up. Being mad all the time does effect your health and your mood. I'm not a doctor, so I don't know exactly what it does. But I know its not good for you.

yes, when you get mad it can affect your health, but don't worry too much, as long as you don't hold it all inside. if you must hit something try getting a punching bag, it won't hurt and you'll be getting a workout, excersise releases some natural feel good chemicals, it chould help calm you down..if you don't have room for a bag try going for a run, or doing push ups.

Your blood pressure could increase, and over time could cause problems. When you feel the anger coming on go out for a run. And work on rethinking how you think about things so you don't get mad in the first place.

Since you enjoy punching things, why not take up boxing? Check out your local gym to see where you could take boxing lessons. If you work out on a regular basis you may find some of this tension lessening.

Keep a rubber band around your wrist and pop yourself instead of others or the walls until you hurt enough to calm down.

smoke a joint , have a shot of vodka , masterbate , imagine yourself in a orange jump suite talking to on a phone behind a glass window , then reliaze how trival the issue is and how your probaly overacting and your short fused temper could put you behind bars , then you will have to spend the remaining prime of your youth being sodimized by conficted felons over a temper tantrum ...its not worth it that should calm you down real fast , unless of course the thought of azz sex excites you then i have made the situation worse by trying to help

there are lots of ways. my brother likes to punch holes in walls. but i don't advise that. it's costly.
i would advise counting and although you said that doesn't work, try it taking deep, calming breaths, while counting. what i really like to do, and works for me, is screaming, at the top of your lungs, and if you aren't the only one at home muffle it with a pillow. it really releases stress.
