a whole lotta money when you factor in priority access for appointments, RXs for free or no more than $9, and NO out of pocket costs whatsoever.

Any civilian program would have a monthly cost as well as deductables and co pays. To get the exact same bennies? I think you'd be talking at least $4-500 a month. easy. I am betting on it being higher though.

I use Tri-Care Standard. We pay nothing. (Retired E-5 Shot in Viet Nam). We have a deductible of $150 per person no more than $300 per family. Then Tri-Care tells the doctor that accepts Tri-care how much they can charge. We pay a percentage.

My sister-in-law and husband pay $800/month, the company pays $400/month. They pay for nothing...includes doctor visits medicine, hospitalization. But he will probably never be able to retire.
