All depends on the 2 people involved. For some folks, 10 years apart is way too much. For others, 30 years is no big deal.

My father is married to a woman 27 years younger and it's one of the best marriages I've seen.
A good friend of mine is married to someone 34 years older, and the relationship is on the verge of being a nightmare. I don't know if that's how it always was, or if that's what it aged to.
I think it depends on the sacrifices people are willing to make, the people themselves, and what they want of a marriage.
I personally, would set my limit at 15, but maybe that's because I haven't met someone older I can obsess over.

My boyfriend is 11 years younger than me and we have a great relationship. We always have a good time together and we get along great, too. Of course the naughty is just WOW! Our parents are very understanding and supportive. I am right in between his age and his moms age, so his mom and I get along real good as well. I sure wasn't planning on having a relationship with someone so much younger than me after my divorce, but it happened and I wouldn't change it for nothing.

i've heard the rule of thumb is "half plus six". in other words, if you're 20, then your partner should be at least 16 (20 divided by 2, plus 6). if you're 30, then your partner should be at least 21, and if you're 40, then your partner should be at least 26.
so depending on how old you are, you could use this to determine if your partner is too old for you.

i usually go for 5 yrs older as a limit.
i think if your 20 then 30 is kool
if your 15 then 25 is wrong.
depends on your age. once your 18 though, no age shocks me..over 50 is pushin it tho!

I think it depends on the ages. For example, 10 and 20 is disgusting, but 50 and 60 is normal, accepted.

10 to maybe 15 years because not only is there the age thing but they have to have different interest and goals when the ages are that far apart i think their lifestyles would clash

Never too much if you are otherwise intellectually and sexually compatible. During my experience I've had VERY wonderful affairs with lovers twice my ge (twice) and 2 1/2 times my age (once).
