I have an 86 in the shop right now. it is on the passenger side towards the back it will take metric wrenches to remove. it is a little larger that your fist....if you fist is a bit bigger than an orange juice can. I had issues on this 86 with the charcoal canister under the hood on the passenger side. it was plugged and caused fuel pressure issues. I take it this is a throttle body injection and not fuel rail fuel injection

Should be on the driver side along the side or back by the tank. Has a line in and line coming out. Also, there is one in the tank called a strainer, sock, etc.
