Satan always seems to try to mimic or overshadow Gods' plans. Mostly by giving a little of the truth, to get people to accept a bigger lie. Does Islam not fit this pattern ? Its taught as a peaceful religion (to its converts), but teaches murder, oppression, etc. is acceptable against the "Infidel" (unbeliever), The Christian and the Jew, and names them specifically. I have read this in the Quran, and this is not generalized hatred towards another religion without basis.

All religions that don't believe in god are religions of satan.

You gotta choose somebody.....
God, or satan. If not god, whom other than satan, you got two options! PICK

I wonder were you guys thinking in the same way, when Ottoman Empire as an Islamic Empire was helping to the Jews who ran away from the Spaniards or were you also thinking the same way, when that empire helped France with Capitulations. And I also wonder if you were thinking in the same way when you took your children your parents or your spouse to hospital to be cured by a muslim doctor just before 9/11. Plus I condemn the suicide bombers more than you do. Coz they didnt only kill the innocent peeps in WTC and United Airlines Passengers but also remained us a "big black T(all muslims are Terrorists" letter. I also hate those radicals too. Plus, there were some muslims in WTC when they crashed into it. Even one of my relatives. Should I hate myself coz I am a muslim? I guess the main mistake that you guys do is, accuse the Religion *ISLAM* of humans mistakes... Pitty isnt it?...

the religion originally was a good one it helped the people greatly however as time goes on and times change they need to have new words from god
as Jesus changed from the old law to the new law they are still stuck on moses's law to cross the river Jordan and kill the unbelievers
fast forward the religion split and we have Jews and Muslims they both share the same roots and original religions but 1 changed a little and now they hate each other

to see this another way our city had 1 high school than it grew and now we have 2 and their rivals you can feel the hate

same thing

No, Islam is not the religion of Satan. What you've described above is how religious fanaticism works. I really think you should go to your local library, and pick up a book or two on the major religions of the world. You would find that christianity is only so widespread across the world because it was the religion of the first colonizers and imperial nations. They imposed their way of life on other nations. Or another thing you could do, is read a book on 16th century Europe, and you'd find the same sort of religious bloodshed that we see currently in the middle-east. Every Judeo-Christian holy book I can think of also contains information on how to deal with "infidels" btw, it's just that religious fanaticism dies as countries modernize and industrialize, it seems.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of God plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Sigh. I feel so bad for all the good Muslims in the world...all 1.4 billion of them. The handful of extremists and terrorists have forever slandered the religion.

How can Islam be Satanic when it's an Abrahamic religion, just like Christianity and Judaism? All three religions have the same basic beliefs.

You are correct in stating that Islam is an inherently violent religion. As an atheist, I cannot say that it is the religion of Satan and if I were a Christian, I would still be hesitant to conclude as much.

Actually, the same is true of Christianity too. Or did you forget all the middle ages madness in Europe.

Anyway, one can become a follower of Satan, if one closes one's own mind, and relies on a book to interpret the world for them.

So, its not really the religion, but the followers, who become Satanic.

Unfortunately, many Muslims have closed their minds, and follow the book too precisely; and we have similar examples of Christians too (Pat Roberson etc), but thankfully, not too many.

in total fairness christianity is the mimic. with islam thiers is the son of abraham by a consort he had but because he truely was abraham's first born son(ismeal) they believe him to be the true decendant of god's chosen. the hebrews believe that because sarah was a true chosen wife of abraham only her son isaac is the leader of god's chosen, then a couple thousand years later a gentile named paul takes a hebrew son and all the books and stories written about joshua (jesus) and then mimicked the hebrew faith by changing a few things, adding a new book called the new testament (done by constatine and the nicean council(who were coincidentally more pagan gentiles) and then started the holy roman catholic church the precursor to all christian faiths. they changed gods true holy days that were practiced by hebrews and islam together and changed them to match the holy days of pagans. so who is the satan in control of? the true believers and chosen (hebrew and islam?) or the pagan copied christians?

Oh, boy. Another one. It IS a mostly peaceful religion. It does not teach murder. Ever. Quote exact lines that say to kill people, I'm wondering where you got that idea.
And then I'll come back and quote them IN CONTEXT :)

The prophet was a pedophile and they are taught to hate and kill infidels (non-believers), so that hardly seems like it comes from God. Do the math.
