me and this guy really like eachother..its pretty evident. i dont wanna make the first move because i dont know if he actually wants to date by what he says. if he likes me then how come he doesnt wanna date me?

there are lots of reasons guys dont make a move... you could be sending mixed signals, so he doesnt know what you really want... he may be shy.... you might be extremely pretty, sometimes guys are intimidated by that... or YOU could be reading his signals wrong and maybe he really isnt as interested as you think. its really hard to tell unless you know both people. why dont YOU try to make the move on him... ask him out, its harmless. whats the worse that could happen? he will say no.... and so? no harm done cept to your ego, but hey, we all get rejected at one time or another in our lives, we have to learn to live with it. dont be scared to make the first move. from what I know most guys would love to have one responsibility less.

He is probably scared or insecure about something. But if he likes you, then he will come around sooner or later.
