Jesus said that it's better to avoid sex. He did. If we love him we should try to follow him. But--weak Christians can marry--because it is better
to burn in hell of passion to marry. But won't you suffer for Christ's sake and resist these evil temptation. Please, if you are single and celibate--avoid masturbation. Repression is sometimes like prayer.
It's self-suffering for the sake of your love for Christ Jesus. He died for you in Cross. You should repay him back.Even if guys are apparently "just using it as a form to release stress". I'm sorry, but God has provided many other ways to relieve stress other then pleasuring yourself sexually. And that's the thing, if you are touching your genitals, you are doing something sexual! And God has made it clear, that REAL purity is not just keeping from sex before marriage, but it is keeping away from anything that is sexually gratifying. The ONLY sexual activity that is alright in God's eyes is for a couple only in marriage. The truth about it is that we dont have the RIGHT to think about sex/watch shows of people having sex/listen to people talking about sex, anything that has to do with sex!!! We dont have that right because we are not married! The only kind of sex that is okay in God's eyes is sex in the marriage bed.

If Jesus loves us so much why won't he let us do anything fun?

Good luck with that.....I'm sure we've all heard that and may even believe it in our heart to be true, but I don't think I would've taken the step to marry my husband had we not "gotten our feet a little wet" first. It's a big part of marriage and can cause some serious problems if it's horrible in any way. Like I said....people may know this and hear it all the time, but no amount of preaching is going to change this. Is it better to know what's gonna happen now, or after you get married and find out that your husband hates sex and you have a high sex drive. Misery follows.

Well then, Friday nights will be rather sedate for a lot of unmarried Christian folk. What else did Jesus get all freaked out about? How about bowling, would the Savior be cool with that? Once Christians are married is there anything they can't do? Now my curiosity is peaked, I know a couple of Christian Gals! Hmmmm, I wonder what there up to this weekend. Perhaps I'll put this to the test, maybe ask them out to go bowling; and then broach the subject. Thanks for the idea! Onward Christian soldier girls, marching one by one!

weak Christians can marry. Show me where in the bible it should not marry. There are several verses about marriage and the joy of it. Read the book of Solomon and tell me sex was not a very important part of a Christians life.

If you are 2 ugly or 2 much of a dork to get married than don't say the rest of us are weak because you are jealous

Jesus taught that if you look at a woman to lust after her, you have already committed adultry with her in your heart, breaking one of God's laws. But how can you say that Jesus said that we shouldn't have sex at all? Where in the bible, please tell? God created everything, including sex. Yes, it is for marriage and marriage alone. But it is still a gift from God. And I think that sex is a small example what joy will be when we are with Him.

Is this serious????? Why should god care if you toss off, and why does it matter so much to him if you have sex with someone you love, without the blessing of some priest. Jesus lived before Christian marriage, and he married Mary Magdalene, according to the Apocrypha, so he wasn't free from the flesh. I find your views offensive, please don't say this rubbish again.

No need to avoid masturbation because it is not mentioned in the bible in any way shap or form. It is not in the old testament nor is it mentioned in the new testament. You need to spend more time reading your bible and less time listening to folks that want you to believe what they have in mind.

You're just saying that because you're jealous because you never get any because you're one fugly monkey.

So married couples can only have sex in a bed? Does it have to be their own? What if they are at a hotel or on a bed that isn't theirs?

Then that would make sex not a sin

I dont think you will have much of a problem commiting the sin of sex. someone has to be attracted to you.
