Why is it that train tracks on the ale are so dangerous that when you touch them you can get electrocuted, but regular train tracks are safe enough to walk on?

"EL" trains (I am assuming thats what you were talking about) are Electric (hence the "EL") These have electricity in one rail that will electrocute you if touched. The regular trains use gas for power. They don't have power in the rails. Some are called electric deisel engines but they acctually create thier own electricity internally using deisel genorators in the engines.
