When he and I arent really in the same friend group... And we were friends last year but he is acting so different this year I really dont know what is going on Im afraid that if i tell him strait out that I like him I might just scare him away or freak him out to the point he wount talk to me cause right now were just friends but rumor has it he likes me too!!!!! WHAT DO I DO?????

i have the same problem but if there is rumors goin on that he likes u , u should find out if he likes u n if he does tell him u like him 2 but if he doesnt just say u were tryin 2 c if the rumors were tru or not

This is gonna be hard but, Just come forward and tell him you like him and see what his reaction is. Or try my phrase that always works for me. say " We been talkin for some time and i like being wit you, But i think were old enough to stop beattin around da bush and stop playin games, you know i like you but i need to know what you feelin so i can get wit you or move on."

you need to approach him and tell him your felling dear it better to know how he will react to u now then sitting around waiting for the right chance , when its right it ll happen inshore your sweet kind and pretty,so dint hesitate. i like it right up front no bsing around life is to short and never look back always go forward good luck

First of all, you can NOT get anyone to like you back. Either they do or they don't, no matter how much you like him.
Secondly, why put yourself through this agony? Skip the drama. Cut to the chase. Ask him and get it over with. If he confesses he likes you, you're in. If he flakes out, then you're better off.

make sure he likes you
then find a simple way to tell him u like him like in the form of a joke then if he gets scared or says he does not like you u can say u were joking
