Ok, So I have an ex who I still like. I broke up with him because I thought I found someone else.....So, the other guy ended up not for me. When I realized what a mistake I had made I apologized and asked if there was anyway I could get him back. (his closest friends say he realy loved me) So I knew this was a horrible thing to do.. but he told me that he didnt want a girlfriend right now, nothing personal. He said maybe in a few months......well 2 months had gone by and were friends now. but he acts real weird with me. I'll be talking to him for at least an hour each day, and he even invited me to have lunch with his friends. He will be really sweet and seem like he would take me back in a heartbeat. then there are other times when he leaves me for his friends. or acts as if he is uninterested. Like he's playing a mind game (that or i'm paranoid) I really miss him and want him back. Can anyone help me out here?

You hurt him and he doesn't trust you not to do it again, so some walls are up. Maybe you will win him over again, and get him back, but it's just as likely that he will never trust you enough again to be with you - you really can't do anything about this (other than don't jerk him around) It's totally his call.
I have been on both sides of this kind of thing, and it's always a mess. I hope that you guys work it out, but be prepared for it to maybe not work out either.
Cliches are cliches for a reason - in that you never miss something/what you have till it's gone, grass is greener etc...
Either way, it's a learning experience.

He's not sure if he wants to get back together because you hurt him already and doesn't want to be hurt again. I'm in the same boat with my ex. He says he likes me still but isn't sure he wants to get back with me again. He says he's thinking about it. But he doesn't act uninterested in me. Maybe he's seeing how much you'll do to get him back to see if you really won't do that to him again. Just keep being there for him and show him you care about him don't be pushy about getting back together or else you'll pressure him and he might not get back with you, you'll have to be patient. Though be prepared to know that he might not take you back.

well first let me say that THE GRASS ISN'T ALWAYS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE, now that ,that's said i will answer your question from a guys point of view,you dumped me for him,he didn't work out ,now you want me back, yea right I'll take you back so you can break my heart again later, i don't think so, but I'll use you for what ever i can get ! till you figure it out that you don't have a chance in hell of getting me back !remember and learn from your mistakes

he is very hurt the same thing happened to me with my girlfriend twice it feels like a person just shot you with a gun and that hole will not refill until later on in life if he truly cares about you he will go back out with you i went back with mine its just every thing around you reminds you of the stuff the two of you did and it hurts even more
