let it sit longer on the new growth, that hair is VIRGIN, meaning less porous because this the first application of peroxide

You might not be leaving the color on long enough for it to adhear. Do your roots first and then the rest of your hair so the root has a chance to catch up in color with the rest. And make sure there are NO styling products in your hair.

If you dye your hair often then your hair is probably damaged and drier at the tips, causing it to soak up more color than the roots. I suggest you apply the color to your roots several minutes before applying the color to the tips and see if that helps. You could probably also benefit from a good trim.

Hi there!Don't be worry about that;you just need to go to a little hair cut, becose your hair seems to be a little unhealthy. It's because of the summer sunshine, and try to use good brands like GARNIER for your hair!
Hope it will be ok!GOOD LUCK!

when you wash your hair, make sure you pat your hair dry instead of rubbing it dry with your towel, you will rub away your color. maybe that helps.
