there is sony devicolor and also comporium basic cable and also
i have a sanyo it is a expencise looking high tech tv but it was only about 80$ lol

tv brand names now a days manages to create their sister company or sub-cons to increase their sales.the best thing to determine is to know how or what company or manufacturer does it came from. ex,national=singer,samsung=kolin,akai=astron.
