Why did people make up god ...?

Waite a minute who told you God your lord and saver is made up ! Let me tell you some thing he kept my mother alive for 15 years and she is still up and running, she had lung cancer,heart cancer, and she almost weighted 300lbs and could not lose it, but beause of God she still alive her heart is better now then ever, her lungs or more beter as well she lose over 100lb and know she weighs 157lbs. What caused all of that was she smooked her hole life now she has stoped for 6 1/2 years know! Dont ask about something you dont know the full truth about ok I know God his is my father Dont ever talk like that again because he have put a blessing in you and you dont give a darn care about it so be careful about waite you say! He will show you some day what your blessing is give him a chance, your blessing is your LIFE!

Every civilization, from the largest and most powerful in history to the smallest tribal groups found in South America, believes in the spirit realm. God, the one true God, is unprovable and therefore must be believed in by faith. There is no law or requirement to do so. Its the personal choice of the individual. If you believe God is a fairytale, that is your individual choice and should be respected. If I believe there is a God, and I chose to believe he is my creator and savior, my belief should also be respected.

It may be made up or it may not...but I think people who believe in god look at the things around them, the vastness and how complicated everything is and how it all is supposed to have worked together to make the world work and see that it had to all have had a creator of some kind. God is a complicated topic for no one has seen it and for many of us we need to see to believe.

People have always made up different stories to explain how things came to be and why things happen. The idea of God and some of the stories told are a bit hard to swallow, but I guess nobody ever knows for sure.

Because some people cannot take "I don't know" for an answer, so they make up beings and assign emotions, and rules to them. Rules that make these "gods" happy, and rules that make these "gods" sad. And then they make a club of people that believe the same thing, and then cults, and then churches and then religions.
