It sounds like back labor. Call your OB/GYN

I think it is very important that you mention this pain to the doctor this afternoon when you go in. Since this is the right side, I am concerned this could be appendix. Are you running a fever at all? Be prepared for the doctor to possibly brush you off. Be persistent and let them know you are concerned about this. I wish you the best.

having given birth to 2 children and had lots of complications during both i would advise u go to your ob-gyn. only a doctor can determine what kind of troubles u might be having. but i would say u are having premature labor pains. but again the best thing for u to do is go immediately to see your doctor. at 37 weeks they would consider u term and not stop ur labor if u were in labor and having complications. hope all goes well with the delivery!

It sounds to me like either the baby's head is putting pressure on your side, or it could be Braxton-Hicks contractions, which are just practice contractions which prepare the body for the real thing. If the pain gets really bad, or you get any other symptoms, such as bleeding, talk to your midwife.

Sounds like you're going into preterm labor. Even if it is just false labor you should contact your doctor immediately! At 37 weeks the babies lungs should be developed but it's always best to contact your doctor if you have concerns. They're used to it so don't feel silly calling them.

are you keeping track of when the pains come (how far apart they are)? It sounds like labor. If the pains come 5 minutes apart and start to get stronger then you might want o get a ahold of your Dr.
