I have been offered an incredible job opportunity. The pay is excellent but it requires lots of traveling (completely paid for). I will be put up in 5 star hotels and my wardrobe will be Italian made suits paid for by the company. I have not flown for about 8 or 9 years because of a bad experience. I have already accepted this opportunity which will begin next month. But even with all the perks, I get nervous just thinking about being on another plane. Does anyone have any ideas how to get over your fear of flying? Serious answers please?

Just sit and talk your self through it. Flying is so safe now with all the security. Also you can ask your doctor for xanax that will help with the panicing on the plane. Also try reading on the plane and thinking about something else other than flying. You will be fine!
Good Luck

The first time for me, was way back in 99. I had never flown before, and flew from DTW (Detroit) alllll the way to Honolulu, Hi!! I loved it!!
What I did was take some word search puzzle books, chewing gum, some paper back novels.

Always take some kind of motion sickness pills. Or if it's more deblitating than that, take some kind of prescribed sedative. I find that if I can focus on something, like the inflight movie it really helps.
