I don't think there really is such thing as a sin in Wicca, but to me something bad to do would be to kill or purposely cause harm to anyone or any animal, to hate and be intolerant, and to try to force people to follow Wicca.

A sin is any thought or action that falls short of God's will. God is perfect, and anything we do that falls short of His perfection is sin.

The Bible actually uses a number of examples or "word pictures" to illustrate what this means. For example, it tells us that sin is like an archer who misses the target. He draws back his bow and sends the arrow on its way—but instead of hitting the bull's-eye, it veers off course and misses the mark. The arrow may only miss it a little bit or it may miss it a great deal—but the result is the same: The arrow doesn't land where it is supposed to.

The same is true of sin. God's will is like the center of that target—and when we sin, we fall short of His will or miss the mark. And this is something we do every day; as the Bible says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Even when we aren't aware of it, we commit sin by the things we do (or fail to do), or by the way we think.

This is why we need Christ, for only He can forgive us all our sins, and only He can help us live the way we should. We can't forgive ourselves, nor can we change our hearts and make ourselves better in God's eyes. But when we know Christ, He takes away our sins and comes to live within us by His Spirit. Does He live today in your heart?

I do not believe in the word "sin". For me it conjures up people being "born sinful", "living in sin", "repenting your sins". It's a control method used by Christianity to make you feel guilty for being a human being. I am an ex-Christian for that and other reasons. I am now a Unitarian and have never been happier!! I can think for myself, follow any religious faith I want to or non at all. It's allowed me to really open my mind to possibilities I didn't know existed.

Sin is trangression of the law. The ten commandments. Read Rev. 14-12. It says" here is the patience of the Saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus." Church Of God 7th Day.

I believe that breaking the 10 commandments is considered a sin. I am a Baptist. If we were to follow Love one another as Christ loved the church; then we wouldn't ever have to wonder what is sin or not.

a sin is anything you failed to give attention to, in relation to your well being. for which a person is very busy doing things that they giving too much attention. there is no concrete rule in sin. sin was made depending on the person's strength of faith. if you believe it's not a sin, it is not a sin. actually it shouldn't exist if a person listens to his body and mind's behaviour.

sorry, i'm not into faith. i'm only into truth.

i wouldn use the word sin because that is more of a religious word. the things that i consider wrong are pretty much the same things that most religions say you shouldn't do.
the only place where i probably differ is homosexuality and reproductive rights.

y r u focused on sin?

The devil has a way of making Christians focus on sinners and how sinning is bad and how sinners will go to hell... etc etc so that way they will not spend their time focusing on how to help non-believers and the poor, the lonely, the lost, the sad.

Christians should focus only on their own sin, as it is the only sin they can actively cleanse.

Anything that causes harm to another against their will. I lost faith decades ago, but that doesn't mean I can't tell the difference between right and wrong.

The only thing that gets hurt by not "remembering the Sabbath" and "not worshiping false idols" is God's ego (which happens to be quite large, He's got a bit of a God-complex you see...)
