I have a mean big sister that is a pain what should I do?

She is just always pushing me away and saying bad things to me. How can I stop this?

Ignore her as much as possible and find something else to entertain yourself until school starts back up. You are both probablly on each others' nerves at this point in the summer (it's common), so try to give each other some space. Maybe if you leave her alone for a bit she'll miss you and come around.

And I don't mean that you should blatntly ignore her if she talks to you. That will only make her mad. Just stick with giving her (and yourself) some space.

The Silent Treatment. She is doing this, to make you fight back. She's being a bully. Instead of fighting her, or crying, just stop and stare, then say nothing. Turn and go to another room. Say nothing to her. If she says something, say nothing. Keep asking you mother if you can do things with your real friends, like stay over, or have fun playing outside in the backyard without her. Pretty soon, she'll be begging for you to talk to her again, and this time, she'll be nicer.

She may be going through some tough times- school, boys, stress- a lot of changes in her life causing emotions she doesn't know how to deal with. was there a recent argument/fight between you two? is there something she holds against you? if so, it might be a matter of time..HOWEVER, if theres nothing really there other than she likes bothering you i suggest....you say comments to her like "shes childish" or "its about time to snap out of her tripp" maybe it will help her realize your not such a little girl anymore and she needs to have more respect for you! make her feel like your being more mature than her! i bet that will work!
