It depends on which state/country you're in. You may be jail bait.

Wow, ur question stood out like a sore thumb!! My names Natalie, I'm 18 my birthday is December 16th, my boyfriend is Ian he's 21 and his birthday is January 16th. (See any similarities??) We've been together since I was 13 years old....so yeah it could def. work out...If he's a good guy your parents will know it and they shouldn't have a problem with the age difference. At first Ian's friends made fun of him for having a young girlfriend, now they're all jealous of his young girlfriend, and serious relationship.
Don't break up with him JUST because of the age gap because if I would have, I would have lost the love of my life!! I hope everything works out for the best!!!

I have dated older guys before. One was even older then 18. We didn't have sex or anything. There is no magic cut-off number where we are all of a sudden more mature and able to handle dating better, but the law will prosecute and throw a 19 year old boy in jail for having sex with a 17 year old girl.... even though a 98 year old can have sex with an 18 year old girl with no problems at all. My brother's best friend had sex with a 19 year old girl when he was 15. His mother sent that girl to jail when she found out.

Well the thing with that is, he is 18 and if he is in school and getting ready to go to college, he is going to be wanting to explore. On the other hand if he aint what kind of life are you going to have with no education and blue collar jobs and possibly having a baby in your teens if you are sexually active. 3 months aint very long to know eachother. And he is legally an adult, so by law he can get in trouble. He could be playing on your emotions since you are so young also. I think if he love you he would wait until you are of legal age and know where your lives are going.

You say you really love him, so I am assuming if you are not already having sex with him, you will be soon. Please love yourself enough to use the best birth control so you do not get pregnant. Because you are 15 and he is 18, eventually you both will move on and see new people. A baby will not hold him back from dating others, but it will definitely hold you back from living your life. Be smart and use condoms not only for birth control, but for any STD's. (sexually transmitted diseases) You do not know where he was before you, and you do not want to find out the hard way. ***And Yes, he can go to jail for having sex with you until you are 18 yr. old. Good luck.

La Happy;
I am sure you mean well and your (boyfriend) as well. things happen and sometimes we don't intend for that to happen but it does and i mean 30 seconds of bliss that will take the rest of your lives to pay for. you do not have a clue as to what is coming up the road at you. if you and your man can maintain a relationship free of backseat sex and learn to love each other for who you are and save the greatest thing that you have to offer each other until you are consenting adults you will never regret it. then this romance is good, if you are speaking of just sex until something better comes along then you know that it is cheap and can not grow. please be the wise one in this relationship,don,t taint it with cheap backseat affairs. now to answer your question, there is nothing wrong with a three year span between "CONSENTING ADULTS" however 15 is not considered a legal age of consent, be very careful you are precious and should be allowed to be a teenager,not a teenage mother!!!!!!!!!!!

i am 17 gonna be 18. she is 16 ish, but still seems 15. Weve been together for 1 year 3months 3 days..and i dont see any real issue. the only impedement to your lasting love is the narrow perceptions of those around you. Just remember love isnt everything,but its alot.

Dating anyone 18+ is against the law! you should wait till you are older so you wont get in trouble for being with him..its only been 3 months. You should hold on till you are 18...

Well besides statutory rape laws that exist in in every state, there's no problem. You might consider moving to a 3rd world country, like Canada, for the time being.

There isnt unless you are sleeping with him. If so you have a case of statutory rape. And I wouldnt plan on it lasting too long due to the age difference and the fact you are still in high school.
