You're only a Christian in the way that a Hewbrew person is Jewish. You're not a Christian religiously, but culturally perhaps you are.

Officially you are C of E, but I don't think that automatically makes you a Christian. I don't think there's anything wrong with it though, it's these people who actually choose to get baptised by the full immersion method when they're 20+ that worry me, I mean what they're saying is that most of the population are not 'really' baptised so the whole thing with the vicar and the water on the head is a waste of time... hmm, let me see, what else in the Church is a complete waste of time I wonder? ;-)

No your not a christian if you dont believe that Jesus is the son of God. You have to accept him into your heart and ask forgiveness of your sins. Christian means Christ like.... that means then you would try to live your life according to his word.
If your are sincere and want to be a christian then click here http://www.bremenjerusalem.org go to the link that says are you ready? And read what it says. Even though your parents dont go to church doesnt mean that they are not christians. Church is good but they can be christians in their lives and not go to church. They raised you right if they brought you up teaching you about Jesus. Hopefully you will make the right decision and follow in their footsteps. :o)

No, not if you don't want to be.
Some people say they are Christians because they believe in God or they live in a Christian country. That's fine if that is what they want.
I think a Christian is someone who has decided to take a step to accept the Christian way which is asking Jesus to forgive your sins and trying to follow the was He taught.
You don't have to be a Christian if you don't want to! That is the beauty of free-will!

You're not just a Christian because you have that background. You need to believe that Christ died for your sins and that you will inherit heaven someday because of what He has done for you.
Mark 16:16
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Like you I was raised a Christian, but saw too much hypocrisy and cruelty to believe it. You are a Christian if you think you are. I'm an atheist becase I don't believe in it.

Interesting.. in my opinion, it not only the question of Christian but all religion in this world. Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, etc faced the same problem. To me, you are not a Christian, because u doesn’t have faith in Jesus or God.

No you are not. To be a Christian you have to believe that you are, want to be one, act like one, go to church regularly and read the Bible.
