I wouldn't think it's a problem, it sounds really cute actually. My daughter would "Rev her Harley" when she would get excited about stuff up until she was almost 3. She would hold her hands up like they were holding a motorcycle handlebar and she would curl her wrists up and down like she was revving an engine. It was hilarious. It was a little weird at the time, but now that she's stopped doing it, I miss it. Don't worry, it's just her thing to do.

Not at all! It would be the same as a grown woman squealing in delight or hopping up & down (FAR more upsetting to passers-by than a 4 yo flapping her arms, believe me!). Don't sweat it - she'll probably outgrow it soon or stop it entirely as soon as one of her classmates tells her she looks silly.

No she'll probably grow out of it. You could encourage her to clap instead although I think flapping her arms sounds absolutley adorable. She is only four after all.

no this is just your daughter expressing her excitement about something. My four year old son jumps for joy and claps when he is excited. Just make sure that she is careful so she doesn't get hurt or break anything!!

No. It is just her way of expressing her excitement at the time. Don't worry she will most likely grow out of it.

My daughter bounces up and down when she is excited.

She is only 4 years old. Children do all kinds of silly things, and they go through all kinds of stages. Don't worry she will grown out of it. Enjoy the cute things that she does now, because they grow up fast.

No.

Unless she is standing in a nest 20 feet in the air.

Being excited about something is natural.

that is so strange my four year old nephew does the same thing, however, our four year old doesn't even jump up and down when he is excited. He does talk your ear off and makes goofy faces when he gets excited.
