Well, you should do whatever you want to do - it's your body and your choice.

However, if you plan to stop (which is a good idea) it's better to do it while you're younger so that it's not as difficult to quit. Also, quitting now will keep you from the higher likelihood that you'll wind up with lung cancer/throat diseases/etc.

For your health, you should quit. Plus, it'll save you the worry of getting caught...

Quit while you still can easily. Speaking as a smoker, it is a pain in the butt.

I’ve been a smoker, off ‘n on for 10 years, and its beginning to affect my health. I start my mornings with a smoker’s cough, and I can’t run or play hard without wheezing. At night, after a particular hard day of smoking, my chest feels heavy and my throat is ragged out. In November, when the weather starts to get cold, I usually have a case of bronchitis that can last for weeks. Nothing like hacking up a lung.

Smoking is becoming more and more socially unacceptable. More and more places are many you smoke outside now. It is a pain -especially when it’s raining or snowing. Some employers are not even going to hire you if they know you smoke.

The cost now is also outrageous. In Ohio, it now cost around $4 a pack. At a pack a day, that is $1460 a week. That is a vacation up-in-smokes.

Worst of all, believe it or not, it is not even my choice when I want to smoke. My craving for nicotine controls me. I’m getting point where I can’t do anything without that “1st smoke”.

I hate smoking…Quit while you can…

have you ever seen when smokers loose their legs. Its not a pretty picture. truth is smoking affects more than just your loungs. if you truelly wanna know an answer to that question you should look in an anatomy book for deceases that come through smoking. look at some pictures and the answer will be very clear. Reputation isnt everything but you should treat your body nice so it lasts for a while. Make a decision based on knowledge not on what people are trying to make you believe is kool. Ive been a smoker and i quit after i saw those pictures of smokers legs arteries hardening, cancer in the mouth and throat to a point where they had a hole in their throats cause it needed to be removed. get a look at that and than decide if that 4inch tabacco-stick is stronger than your will to quit. By the way...kissing a smoker tastes like licking out an ashtray if you dont smoke (Its nasty)

I have been smoking for over 20 years and now I really wish that I had never started doing it. You are just 16 and it would be very easy for you to quit now. If I had it to do over again, I would and in a heart beat.

Think of it like this. You quit now you wont have to worry about coughing up money for the smokes anymore and you'll get those people off your back at the same time.

It's expensive. Just think of all the music tracks and clothes you could have bought with that money you burned up. So quit smoking and save your bucks for something better.

u should defenitly quit smoking. it destroys ur body. it can also stop ur heart. after u quit u'll have more energy and be able to do more. dont worry about what other people think and say. if they dont like u for u then thats their problem and u dont need them.

i smoke although i shouldn't. about 4 months before my mother died of lung cancer, my 16 yr old neice started smoking. since i smoke, i didn't have nerve to say much to her but smoking is bad for your health. the ultimate choice is yours.
