And your question is what?

Go to the doctor and tell them you want everything they can possibly give you for smoking cessation. Get on the patch, get the gum, get the scripts for it.. If you do as much as you possibly can at once, you'll have a much better chance.

You can also try hypnosis. I went with a friend of mine and for some reason I can't be hypnotized.. some people can't. But I had to sit there through the whole session and got to hear the whole thing and to me, it sounds like it would definitely work IF you have your mind made up to quit. That's gotta be the first thing to happen before anything else works. Good luck to you.

I haven't smoked a cigeratte in three weeks. I am using the patch but am determined to quit this time. It takes a ton of willpower, but you can do it. I don't allow smoking in my house or car. You have to really want to do this. Try to keep busy. I eat 100 calorie snacks and eat hard candy that seems to help and that way I won't be gaining alot of weight. good luck to you!!!!

i've been smoking since 17 yrs old just quit in 2004. cold turkey is the best way. no patch , no tapering. Secret is going to the garage to smoke. it became a hassle after a while. no smoking in car. chew gum. i used to long for it after a good meal or good sex. i eat small meals, drink lots of water. walk around keep my hands busy. do all of the above and you'll be sucessful. But you have to have the motivation to quit. nowadays, smokers are a minority.

Ok so what you want to do is:

Well, really it would be extremely tough to try to quit smoking on your own. Try some of the new tablets that they have that will help you resist smoking.
